Tampa Lovebirds is not responsible for any sold lovebirds or any other birds in our online store. All of our live birds for sale have no warranted. All sales are final there is no return or exchange of any live birds under any circumstance. No bird comes with a health certificate at the point of sale. When you buy a bird from our store you are aware of the risk that you take when you invest in a live bird, anything live can died on any given moment for a large number of reasons, and no one of our birds is not cover if it dies for any reason. If you are not ok with this rule do not purchase any live birds.
Once a Bird Leaves the store or aviary and is expose to the outside environment and in case of any infections, diseases, bacteria or trauma is 100% the responsibility of the Customer and not the store.

TampaLoveBirds has been in business since 2011. We are an online-only bird store specializing in lovebirds and a wide variety of exotic birds, including but not limited to:

- Sun Conures
- African Greys
- Amazon Parrots
- Macaws

All birds available for sale are listed on our website. Each product listing describes the age, mutation, sex (when applicable), and temperament of the specific bird. If a bird is hand-fed or tame, this will be clearly stated in the listing.
Bird Availability & Descriptions
- Birds may be offered as babies or adults, depending on availability.
- We do not sell unweaned birds or nest babies. All birds sold are fully weaned or eating independently.
- Lovebirds listed under Pre-Order are examples only. Exact colors may not always be available, and we will match with a similar mutation. Color variations are normal, and customers must be flexible.
- Bird appearance may vary based on lighting, perception, and natural variation.
Sex Determination Disclaimer
- Sex is determined by pelvic bone evaluation, which is approximately 60% accurate.
- We do not offer DNA sexing unless explicitly stated in a specific listing.
- Some birds may be labeled as DNA tested or proven breeders—customers must read each listing carefully.
- No guarantees are made regarding sex unless clearly stated.
Processing Time
- All orders require a processing time of 10–15 business days before shipping or pickup.
- Processing times may change due to:
- Weather conditions
- Inventory availability
- Staffing limitations
- Logistics or transportation issues
Orders should never be placed with urgency. Handling live animals requires patience, care, and flexibility for the safety of the birds.
Pickup Policy
- TampaLoveBirds is not open to the public.
- In-person pickup is available by appointment only and only for select birds.
- Not all birds qualify for pickup, as some birds are located at partner stores across the United States.
- Eligibility for pickup is determined by TampaLoveBirds.
Shipping Methods
USPS Live Express Shipping
- Available for small and medium birds only, including lovebirds.
- Not available for:
- Macaws
- Amazon Parrots
- African Greys
- Cockatoos
- Other large exotic birds
Shipping Cost:
- $75 covers up to 10 small/medium birds.
- An additional shipping fee applies for every additional 10 birds.
Delivery Time:
- 1–2 business days after drop-off at USPS.
Delivery Process:
- Some USPS locations will attempt home delivery.
- If delivery fails, birds will be held at the local post office for pickup.
- Some locations may call directly for pickup.
Pickup Requirements:
- A valid photo ID is required.
- Only the individual listed on the order may pick up the birds.
Delta Airlines Live Cargo Shipping
- Flat rate: $350
- Same policies apply as USPS shipping.
- Same-day arrival.
- Ideal for large birds, mixed species, or wholesale orders.
- Customer must pick up birds in person at Delta Airlines with a valid photo ID.
Live Arrival Guarantee
- We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee for deceased birds only.
- Claims must be submitted within 5–10 minutes of pickup.
- Claims must include:
- Clear photos
- A full written report
- Submission via email
⚠️ Claims not reported within the required timeframe will NOT be honored.
Exclusions
- We do not cover injuries such as:
- Broken wings
- Broken legs
- Beak damage
Any shipping-related damage claims must be filed directly with USPS or the airline.
Refunds, Cancellations & Exchanges
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
- Orders cannot be canceled, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstance, even if the order has not shipped.
- If a refund is approved (rare and at our discretion), it will be issued as store credit only.
- Store credits:
- Do not expire
- Are non-transferable unless written permission is granted
Please do not place an order unless you are 100% certain you want the bird.
Wholesale Policy
- Wholesale deals are available for:
- Pet stores
- Breeders
- Resellers
- Wholesale packages are listed under our Wholesale Category.
- Prices are non-negotiable.
- Customers cannot select specific lovebird colors for wholesale orders.
- Wholesale lovebirds will be:
- Mixed color varieties
- Primarily Fischer and Peach-Faced
- Parent-raised (not hand-fed)
Excluded from Wholesale
- Lutino
- Albino
- Creamino
- Decino
- Sable
Customers are responsible for training wholesale birds after delivery.
Health Certificates
- Birds do not come with health certificates.
- By purchasing, the customer acknowledges and accepts this condition.
Partner Stores Disclaimer
- TampaLoveBirds works with partner stores across the United States.
- Not all birds are physically located at our farm.
- Pickup eligibility depends on bird location and availability.
Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order on TampaLoveBirds, you confirm that you:
- Have read and understood all Terms & Conditions
- Accept all policies regarding shipping, refunds, sex determination, and availability
- Understand that live animal purchases require patience and flexibility
Failure to comply with these terms may result in order refusal.
SHIPPING METHODS
- USPS Shipping Method $65.00 (PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED) – The United State Postal Service is a 2 days Guarantee Delivery. It can take up to 2 days to arrive to your local USPS office. Some stations will call you to pick it up and others have the option of delivering it to your home. With this process we have a live arrival guaranteed. If any lovebird or birds arrive dead at the time of delivery we will give you the money back in the form of a store credit for the value of that bird for your next purchase. These shipping methods do not cover any in transit damages like broken beaks, legs or feathers. This live arrival Guarantee is only effective if the customer informs us Via email with pictures of what happened and a report at the time of pic up or delivery of the incident, you may call us after you send the report and inform us via Telephone but always send the Email with the report * Within a 3 Hour Period from the time that it was Received First*. If you do not inform any deaths at moment of pick up or arrival it will not be covered by this guarantee. Emails or calls 4 or 5 hours later or from the next day or even days later to inform any issues are not allow, If you don't follow this rule we will assume that anything that happed its the customer responsibility. Birds are very fragile and sensitive to smells, sounds and even other pets that may scare them to death. That's why once the bird is in the customer position we will not covered.
- DELTA AIRLINES Method $165.00 (PHOTO ID IS RECUIRED) – Delta Airlines is same day delivery and you will have to pick it up at your local International Airport Cargo department. With this process we have a live arrival guaranteed. If any lovebird or birds arrive dead at the time of delivery we will give you the money back in the form of a store credit for the value of that bird for your next purchase. These shipping methods do not cover any in transit damages like broken beaks, legs or feathers. UNWEANED BIRDS
If you purchase an unweaned Baby bird it is your responsibility of keeping the bird alive by feeding it according to the bird. You have to do whatever it takes to make sure the bird has enough food in him to survive and grow healthy. If you don’t have experience hand feeding a baby bird our recommendation is to not purchase one of them because they have no warrantee. We are not responsible for anything that happens to the baby bird outside the store.
BIRDS IN STOCK FOR SALE
-The birds that are in stock in our website are sample pictures of the birds that we breed. We will match the sample one that is listed for sale with an actual one that we have. We ask for the customer to be flexible with color choice. We will do our best to match your desire color but some times the color may vary a little bit from one to another. In that case we will call you and show you the actual bird you will get before we ship the order. In case that we don't have the exact one you purchase and you don't agree with what we have to offer at that moment, You are entitled to receive a full refund for your purchase back to your account.
Processing Time
- Orders can take from 45 to 90 days to be process and send for delivery. Please do not confuse the 2 day delivery time that is listed in the shipping with the processing time. Once we process your order completely and your bird is ready to be ship, that's when we drop them off and is a 2 days guarantee delivery. Its very important to have patience when you purchase a bird from us. ( We always do our best to deliver as fast as possible with out using all the time that we ask.)
BIRD BEHAVIOR OR ATTITUDE
We do not guarantee the behavior of any bird, any sweet bird can turn mean and any mean bird can turn sweet, its the customer responsibility to spend time with its bird and becoming friends with them. We sell birds with no define behavior.
